Gek that in dutch means crazy, is a composite word that means G for Geluid (Audio) E for Educatie (Education) K for Kunst (Art). Founded in 2013 in Rotterdam, the project consists in an art space aimed to the education in the artistic and musical field. Studio Gek hosts also exhibitions in contemporary art and develops its own art and sound installations.
